## 1. What data the App collects

Blob Merge is a "merge puzzle" game. Most of the gameplay works **entirely locally on your device** and does not require creating an account or providing any personal information.

### 1.1. Data stored locally on your device

The following information is stored only in your device's local storage (never sent to any server) and is used solely to remember your preferences between play sessions:

- selected game language,

- music and sound volume settings,

- selected visual theme (skin),

- daily challenge progress,

- best scores for each game mode,

- optionally, a remembered nickname used when submitting a score to the leaderboard.

You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in your Android settings.

### 1.2. Leaderboard (Classic mode)

If you choose to submit your score to the online leaderboard in Classic mode, only the following is sent to a database (Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore):

- **the nickname** you type in yourself — this is not your real name unless you choose to enter it as such,

- **the numeric score** you achieved,

- **a timestamp** of when the score was submitted.

Submitting a score is entirely **optional** — you can play the game normally without ever sending any data to the leaderboard. This data is publicly visible to other players as part of the leaderboard (alongside other players' nicknames).

If you would like your leaderboard entry removed, please email us at the address below, including your nickname and the approximate score/date submitted.

## 2. Third-party services used by the App

The App relies on the following third-party services, which may process data according to their own privacy policies:

### 2.1. Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore

Used to store and display the leaderboard (see section 1.2). More information: [https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy](https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy)

### 2.2. Google AdMob

The App displays full-screen (interstitial) ads provided by Google AdMob — only in Classic mode, after a game ends, and not on every occurrence. Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and other data in order to serve ads, including personalized ads, depending on your device and regional privacy settings.

Ads can be turned off for the current play session at any time in the App's Options screen (the "Ads" toggle) — this setting is not remembered after the App is closed and reopened.

More information on how Google handles data in its advertising services: [https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads](https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, ad delivery may be subject to additional consent mechanisms managed by Google in accordance with applicable law (e.g. GDPR).

---

## 3. Device permissions

The App may use the following system permissions:

- **Internet access** — required to send/retrieve leaderboard scores and to display ads.

- **Vibration** — used only to generate haptic feedback during gameplay; it does not collect any data.

None of the above permissions are used to collect personal data beyond what is described in this Policy.

---

## 4. Children's privacy

The App is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children below the age requiring parental consent in their jurisdiction. Because the App displays ads (Google AdMob), we recommend that parents and guardians supervise younger users' access to the App and review their device's advertising privacy settings.

---

## 5. Data security

We take reasonable steps to keep leaderboard data (nickname, score) stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.

---

## 6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

- ask what data associated with your nickname is stored on the leaderboard,

- request deletion of your leaderboard entry,

- withdraw consent to data processing (by no longer submitting scores and/or disabling ads in Options).

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address below.

---

## 7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example when new features are added to the App. We will indicate any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
